Founded in 1492, Gmundner Keramik is now synonymous with the best Austrian tableware. It is the unique love of traditional craftsmanship that makes each piece one of a kind. Every piece, from the preparation of the clay to the moulding and painting - everything originates from the Salzkammergut-based manufactory.
A UNIQUE PIECE, PIECE BY PIECE
It is the craftsmanship that makes Gmundner Keramik so unique. In the manufactory in Gmunden, unique pieces are lovingly produced in series every day by around 115 employees, including 25 ceramic painters and one ceramic painter, who give each piece an individual and lively appearance. The unmistakable designs impress with their timeless elegance, bold colours on bright white and soft ceramic shapes.
MANUFACTORY TOURS
Genuine craftsmanship is not old-fashioned, it is timeless. You can also experience this at the manufactory site in Gmunden. If you would like to take a look behind the scenes, you can do so on a guided tour of the manufactory, which is offered all year round, whatever the weather.
