Care instructions and tips for your Gmundner ceramics
Gmundner Keramik products are handmade quality products. They can withstand a lot and are durable. With the right care, they will stay beautiful and look like new for even longer.
Dishwasher
You can clean Gmundner ceramics in the dishwasher at any time. Our recommendation:
- Wash at a maximum of 50 °C. This is gentle on the material.
- Use washing-up powder instead of tabs. Powder can be dosed and is less aggressive.
- Allow water vapour to escape completely after the wash cycle. This prevents limescale stains.
- Regularly straighten bent wires in the dishwasher basket. This prevents your crockery from knocking against each other.
Microwave
You can use Gmundner ceramics in the microwave at any time. Our recommendation:
Only use completely dry crockery in your microwave after the wash cycle. Otherwise it may heat up too much due to the residual moisture.
A little tip:
Use the microwave as a practical plate warmer. Simply place the plates in the microwave for a few seconds.

Thanks to the integrated tea strainer, you can prepare loose tea directly in the bottle. Simply add the tea leaves, pour hot water, and take your drink without an additional cup. All internal metal parts are made of durable, tasteless, and corrosion-resistant SS304 stainless steel. The outer shell, lid, and tea strainer are also made from this material, ensuring stability in everyday life. EEDEN, the portable design lamp with powerful battery operation by Molto Luce impresses with its handmade Gmundner Keramik lampshade and powder-coated base. The lampshade is available in the coloured glazes green, bronze and blue, as well as in the design grey deer. The light colour can be selected between 2700K - 3000K and can be dimmed continuously via the on/off button above the lamp head. If the battery is exhausted, EEDEN can be easily charged via USB-C cable underneath the lampshade.

This process involves spraying the colour onto the ceramic with a fine tube, rather than painting it on directly. There is no other workshop globally that masters this technique.
