Care instructions and tips for your Gmundner ceramics
Gmundner Keramik products are handmade quality products. They can withstand a lot and are durable. With the right care, they will stay beautiful and look like new for even longer.
Dishwasher
You can clean Gmundner ceramics in the dishwasher at any time. Our recommendation:
- Wash at a maximum of 50 °C. This is gentle on the material.
- Use washing-up powder instead of tabs. Powder can be dosed and is less aggressive.
- Allow water vapour to escape completely after the wash cycle. This prevents limescale stains.
- Regularly straighten bent wires in the dishwasher basket. This prevents your crockery from knocking against each other.
Microwave
You can use Gmundner ceramics in the microwave at any time. Our recommendation:
Only use completely dry crockery in your microwave after the wash cycle. Otherwise it may heat up too much due to the residual moisture.
A little tip:
Use the microwave as a practical plate warmer. Simply place the plates in the microwave for a few seconds.

The Gmundner Keramik Water Bottle combines the calm elegance of a thermos cup with high-quality craftsmanship for everyday use. With a capacity of 420 ml, it reliably accompanies you to work, on walks, or while traveling. The soft green tone appears harmonious and timeless, while the silver flame adds a fine, stylish accent. Like a modern thermos cup, it keeps your drinks securely closed and pleasantly tempered. Water, tea, or other beverages remain just as you want to enjoy them. Thanks to the integrated tea strainer, you can prepare loose tea directly in the bottle. Simply add the tea leaves, pour hot water, and take your drink without an additional cup. All internal metal parts are made of durable, tasteless, and corrosion-resistant SS304 stainless steel. The outer shell, lid, and tea strainer are also made from this material, ensuring stability in everyday life. The lid combines stainless steel with PP material and a silicone ring, making the bottle reliably leak-proof, even in a bag or backpack. The smooth surface makes cleaning easy. The rectangular wool felt sets by hey-sign with the Gmundner Keramic design are a real eye-catcher at the table. The practical placemats with the size 45x35cm and 5mm thickness are made of 100% pure new wool. The wool felt is an unproblematic material in terms of cleaning and care. Clean your wool felt set by hand washing under the shower with a soft brush and some shampoo or wool detergent. After showering, lay the set flat on a towel to dry and smooth it out by steaming lightly with the iron. Please use moisturizing soap, shampoo or detergent for wool to preserve the natural fat content of the wool. Wool grease acts as a natural stain protection and prevents dirt and liquid from sticking.
